REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

At 888 Book Publishing, our commitment is to deliver top-tier self-publishing services tailored to authors’ needs. We recognize that circumstances may arise where a refund or cancellation becomes necessary. Hence, we’ve crafted the following refund and cancellation policy to ensure fairness and transparency for our valued customers.

At 888 Book Publishing, refund policy is not applicable when:

  • You have approved the initial draft
  • You have requested revisions
  • You have canceled the order due to non-related reasons in regard to the 888bookpublishing and its policies
  • You have not contacted 888bookpublishing for more than 2 weeks.
  • You have approached another service provider or freelancer for the same project assigned to 888bookpublishing
  • You have provided an incomplete project brief
  • You have approved the deliverables
  • You have accepted multiple revisions for any service
  • You have ordered a bundle service and are dissatisfied with any specific service; refund can only be claimed against that specific service and ‘not’ the complete set of bundle services
  • You have failed to provide the initial project brief within 10 days of order placement since the project initiated

Refund/Cancellation Eligibility:

Editing Services:

Refunds for editing services will be evaluated on an individual basis. If you find the quality of the editing work unsatisfactory, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the edited manuscript to address your concerns and begin the refund process.

Design Services:

Refunds for design services will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you are dissatisfied with the design work or believe it deviates from the agreed specifications, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the design files to discuss your concerns and start the refund process.

Publishing and Marketing Services:

Once publishing and marketing services have commenced, refunds will not be available due to third-party costs and non-recoverable efforts involved.

However, for marketing services, you may claim a refund within 7 days of contract approval and project initiation, provided you present a valid reason. After this 7-day period, refunds will no longer be applicable.

If you choose to pause the project, you may do so and resume it within 3 months of the original start date. If you request to resume the project after 3 months, a renewal fee of $300 will apply.

We will make every effort to address your query and concern promptly in accordance with our policy. Following the refund, you will no longer have legal permission to utilize any version of the draft provided by the company.

888 Book Publishing reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time, and any changes will be effective immediately.
